90.9 The Bridge is excited to announce that Sonic Spectrum, the local freeform music program created and hosted by Robert Moore, will move to its airwaves on Jan. 9, 2021. Listeners can catch the show on Saturdays from 6-8 p.m.
Sonic Spectrum is a weekly freeform music program in Kansas City, known for its cutting edge classics from past and present, created in 2003 by Moore. It has aired on KCUR-FM (2003-2007), 96.5 The Buzz (2007-2020) and now 90.9 The Bridge.
Moore has a 30-year career in the music business, working for various record labels and founding his own in 2006 — OxBlood Records — which featured KC artists such as Ghosty, American Catastrophe and the Pedaljets. In addition to his work with artists like R.E.M., Los Lobos and Concrete Blonde, he has experience in music publishing, consulting, teaching, podcasting, and in broadcasting as a music and program director.
