Best of The Bridge 2019

As we move into a new decade, 90.9 The Bridge is here to continue our mission of music discovery in Kansas City — with Revival’s deep alternate history of music; songs for the new generation of music lovers from The Z Show with Skylar Rochelle; a spectrum of local talent from Thursdays with Timothy Finn and Eight One Sixty with Chris Haghirian; listener requests from Freeform Friday with Sarah Bradshaw; and new weekly selections from music director Jon Hart. We’ve also brought you exclusive in-studio performances and interviews with some of the year’s biggest breakthroughs, like Yola, Maggie Rogers, Soccer Mommy and more. On our website, we’ve featured exclusive song/video premieres, plus interviews with emerging and established artists from the KC area and beyond, and our Bridge Artists of the Week.

The Bridge’s contributors and on-air hosts have submitted a few of their recommended tracks and albums from 2019 and the decade. Take a look and tune in on New Year’s Eve and Day to hear some of the songs (a full Spotify playlist is below)!
