We’re doing a deep dive preview on the one day, Kansas City Folk Festival which takes place in KC on Sunday, February 19 from 10 a.m.- 5 p.m. at the The Westin Kansas City at Crown Center. This event is a great way for you to take advantage of the amazing annual Folk Alliance International Conference that’s happening again this year in KC. The one-day, family-friendly fest takes place in ballrooms throughout the hotel and features 25+ acts from all around the world. We talk about and play music from 11 of those acts: Billy Bragg, Steve Poltz, The Okee Dokee Brothers, Lula Wiles, Making Movies, Eems, The Center State, Rachel Laven, Sky Smeed, Brandon Draper and Orlagh De Bhaldraithe.

Also, you can help the KC Music Collective, a group that works along with Midwest Music Foundation by buying your $30 ticket to the event here: and $5 of your purchase will go to support them. Feel free to share that link with everyone you know!
